See, if the real Phineas and Ferb was like this, I might actually enjoy it. Why? Because these designs look like something Disney would be proud to call their own! They're creative, they're detailed, they're beautiful, they have personality, Cadence even looks like she might have that big wrinkly pink thing in her head instead of a big cavern of empty space! And in a steampunk world, anything goes! But the show we actually got? . . . . . I'm waiting for it to hit the big 104 so we can finally bid them a fond farewell.

I don't mind the PnF style. It is very simple, and it was kinda weird at first, but I mostly fell in love with the story and creativity of the show I eventually began to overlook the style.

The characters are the biggest stumbling block for me; they're either bland beyond imagination (Phineas, Ferb, Jeremy, the mom, the dad, and Isabella) or obnoxious beyond all tolerance (Cadence, Doofenschmirtz, the bully, the nerd, the fanboy, pretty much everyone else). And the imagination would be great if there was any sort of plausibility. Some sort of logistics, or even its own sort of physics. SOMETHING to give the world weight! But they're always trying to force how "imaginative" it all is and how "creative" the world can be. Gummi Bears was imaginative and creative (and probably just as hard to pull off), but it worked because the characters had identifiable personalities, there was a sense of consistency to the world, and there was an underlying set of rules about the physics of the world. Creativity is great, but without some sort of plausibility behind it it just comes across as pointless nonsense.
